College Board Results

I would also like to share the great joy the results of the College Board have brought us.

I would also like to share the great joy the results of the College Board have brought us. Our current 7th, 10th and 12th graders stand out in the 120 schools that make up our Semper Altius network.

When looking at the grades, we must focus on if the students have achieved a High or Very High level. The standings don´t tell us much because they are in relation to the whole set of schools that took the test around the world. Nevertheless, with great gratitude towards God, our teachers and our students, we are proud to announce that our 2015 graduating class, the “final product” of our Highlands School, achieved 2nd place, out of a group of 60 Anahuac Network High Schools, in Academic Achievement, 1st place in “Redacción Indirecta”, 5th place in “Razonamiento Verbal” and in 11th place in Mathematical Abilities (in this area Álvaro Simán Bravo, 12th grade, obtained a perfect score of 800 points).

48% of the students achieved VERY HIGH (level required by the best International Universities), 40% HIGH (level required by the rest of the international Universities and ESEN in El Salvador) and the 12% AVERAGE (level required at Salvadoran Universities).

Our 10th grade students achieved 10th place in Academic Achievement out of 120 schools, 7th place in English and 9th place in “habilidad cognoscitiva”. Our 7th graders achieved 9th place in English.
